Anglicare Central Queensland joins the growing fleet of AdOnCar vehicles

Melbourne, Victoria – January 12, 2012 – AdOnCar is delighted to announce the signing of its first fleet of vehicles in the Anglicare organisation. Anglicare Central Queensland have contracted AdOnCar to manage all advertising on their vehicles from 2012 onwards. Anglicare Central Queensland’s  primary role is to respond to the needs of those who are vulnerable and/or disadvantaged.  Our services help many groups including – children, young people, indigenous people, families, couples, men and women – in a range of ways from crisis intervention through to counseling and relationship education.

These vehicles travel predominantly through Queensland’s central region of Rockhampton, Gladstone, Longreach and the surrounding satellite towns. Ferrying home care workers on their daily visits they cover massive geographic distances whilst spending significant dwell times parked on suburban and city streets during client visits.

Anglicare Central Queensland provides a unique advertising option to any organizations wishing to conduct tactical campaigns within the region. They also compliment the growing national fleet providing a broader reach for advertisers than ever before.  The attached map provides a better understanding of the advertising reach and coverage available.

AdOnCar welcomes Scope Victoria into its Fleet

Scope Victoria joins the growing fleet of AdOnCar vehicles

Melbourne, Victoria – November 1, 2011 – AdOnCar announced today that Scope Victoria, one of the largest providers of services to people with a disability in Victoria, and one of the largest not-for-profit organisations in Australia, has joined the AdOnCar advertising fleet. Scope’s vehicles travel throughout Victoria conducting home-care visits and transporting groups to daily activities. These vehicles are on high rotation in designated geographical areas.

“The inclusion of Scope to our fleet provides our advertisers with a broader geographic reach” said Michael Hawkins, AdOnCar’s founder. “We have had many enquiries from advertisers to utilise our eye catching outdoor advertising formats in country regions. We are now delighted to be able to deliver on those requests.”

Scope’s 90 vehicles operate across 5 rural and 3 metropolitan regions, a total of 92 sites across Victoria and are a combination of passenger vehicles and busses. These vehicles driven by Scope’s carers travel ten’s of thousands of kilometres every week. Advertisers are now able to lock down their message to even more defined geographic regions precisely targeting their demographic audience. In addition the large number of sites provides advertisers with a pick and choose approach rather than relying on traditional static billboards.

Michael said “our advertisers have realised enormous benefit over and above the eye catching advertising of our service. The knowledge that a significant slice of their advertising spend is directly financing the activities of critical service providers such as Scope provides an unrivaled community commitment. Indeed in 2010 AdOnCar generated over $150,000 for these not for profit critical care services.

AdOnCar goes live in Adelaide

It is with great pleasure that we advise the first AdOnCar fleet installations in Adelaide are on the road. If you are traveling through the Southern Adelaide suburbs you will most likely come across a fleet of The Buzz Insurance cars. The Buzz have been a fantastic supporter of AdOnCar and by default the critical care providers that supply their fleets for the advertising purposes.

The roll out in Adelaide is further evidence of the appetite of advertisers to engage the community using alternative mediums to cut through the advertising noise.

We look forward to further interstate roll outs in 2011.

AdOnCar sponsors the Victorian Women’s Rugby Union 7s Squad

When we were approached to help out with the Victorian Women’s Rugby Union 7s squad we were very excited about the opportunity. The women’s rugby team has in the past competed in a series of carnivals across Australia. The most recent carnival was held in Darwin 22nd & 23rd January 2011. The carnival known as the “hottest 7s in the world” (www.hottest7s.com) catered for men’s and women’s teams.

Previous to this sponsorship the team has had to conduct significant fundraising efforts, rely on a number of goodwill gestures and self fund to get to these carnivals. AdOnCar hopes that the appearance of sponsors names on the team’s jersey will encourage more businesses to get involved in assisting women’s sports. Too often men’s sports receive the lion share of sponsorship and the women are left to do all their own fundraising. By encouraging women to play sport at the highest levels AdOnCar hopes that this small step will help build awareness and increase participation in women’s sport.

In 2011, we are delighted to join the Mt Erica Pub in Prahran as the major sponsors of the team. This year through sponsorship from AdOnCar (www.AdOnCar.com.au) and the Mt Erica Pub, Prahran (www.mterica.com.au) the team were fully outfitted and had additional funding for the carnival.

The jersey presentation night was held at the Mt Erica Pub and it was great to see how the ladies reacted to the team uniforms and jerseys. We just hope that it gives them that extra impetus on the field too.

The team will travel to Canberra and Sydney after the Darwin carnival and we wish them the very best of luck in their future games.
